The New Direction of ChatDB #

We're excited to announce some significant changes to ChatDB that will better serve our customers and power users.

Important: We will be deleting user data from the Database AI tool August 17th.

Focusing on File-Based Data Tools #

We've observed a growing demand for tools that can analyze, convert, and visualize data from various file formats, particularly CSV and Parquet.

In response, we're shifting our focus to meet these needs:

• Enhanced Data Processing Tools: We're significantly expanding our suite of tools for analyzing, converting, and visualizing data across various formats.
• Enterprise-Grade Capabilities: We're introducing support for production-scale workloads:
  • Process and transform large-scale datasets efficiently
  • Handle a wide range of compression formats (e.g., GZIP, ZSTD)
  • Support additional file types beyond CSV and Parquet (e.g., JSON, XML)
  • Scale to handle massive file sizes (100GB+)
  • Add an API

Sunsetting SQL AI #

To allocate our resources effectively, we've made the decision to sunset our AI for database connections.

This allows us to concentrate on our core product.

What This Means for You #

If you are a current user of ChatDB for your database, we will be closing down your account on August 17th, 2024. You will have access to your data until then.
